David A. Richards
David Richards has practiced law for over 20 years with a broad spectrum of experience extending from complex litigation to corporate and transactional law. David’s practice is focused primarily on real estate and commercial litigation. An Atlanta native, David earned his bachelor’s degree in history at the University of Montana, Missoula and his Juris Doctorate at Tulane Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Amy H. Bogartz
Amy Bogartz has over 25 years of experience as an attorney, spending much of that time as Associate General Counsel for a manufacturing company in Gainesville, Georgia. In that capacity, Amy’s practice focused on general corporate matters, drafting, and reviewing contracts, conducting product safety reviews, drafting operator’s manuals, and collaborating with the company’s litigation team in products liability litigation matters. In addition to her corporate work, Amy also handles Wills, Trusts, Estates, and Probate matters for the firm.
As a former associate at a large Atlanta-area law firm, an insurance defense firm and Fulton County Superior Court law clerk, Amy also has experience in civil and criminal litigation at the trial and appellate level, corporate formation, mergers and acquisitions and healthcare law. For over ten years, Amy has taught Advanced Legal Writing as an adjunct faculty member at Georgia State University College of Law.
Amy moved with her family from Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Marietta, Georgia in 1980 and has made Georgia her home ever since. She obtained her undergraduate degree at Emory University, her law degree at Georgia State University College of Law and lived with her husband and two sons in Peachtree Corners for over 20 years. Amy recently moved to Big Canoe and is enjoying mountain life!
Hannah N. Harris
Hannah Harris grew up in Woodstock, Georgia. Hannah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religious Studies and a Minor in Spanish from Valdosta State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2020. Hannah went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law, graduating Cum Laude in 2023. In law school, she was the president of the Real Estate Law Society. Hannah was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2023.
John M. Wingate
John Wingate graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Young Harris College in 2017. John went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law in 2020. John is apart of Atlanta Bar Association Dispute Resolution, Litigation, and Real Estate Sections. John was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2020.
Brian T. Westbrook
Brian Westbrook joined O’Kelley & Sorohan as an attorney in 2018. He primarily focuses his practice in the areas of commercial real estate transactions and title insurance. Brian earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Finance from The Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia, graduating in 2010. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2013. Brian was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2013. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia Real Property Section and has spent the majority of his legal career in real estate transactions, both commercial and residential.
Maxine Desir
Maxine Desir, originally from Elizabeth, New Jersey, is a distinguished attorney with a strong academic and professional background. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, graduating Cum Laude from Florida International University in 2016. Following this, she pursued her Juris Doctor at Ave Maria School of Law, where she graduated in 2020. During law school, Maxine was an active member of the Latin Association and the Federalist Society, and she gained invaluable experience through pro bono externships with Dade Legal Aid and in private civil litigation. In 2021, Maxine was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and has since become a respected member of the Gwinnett County Bar Association. Maxine works in the Snellville and Loganville offices.
Caitlin T. Lewis
Caitlin Lewis was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. Caitlin graduated from Berry College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Following graduation, Caitlin then earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2018. While in law school, she served as an Executive Editor for the Tennessee Law Review and an Acquisitions Editor for Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. Caitlin was admitted to the Georgia State Bar in 2018. After graduation, she clerked for the Honorable Clifton L. Corker in his capacities as Federal Magistrate and District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Tanner Johnston
Tanner Johnston was born in Macon, Georgia. Tanner received his undergraduate degree from Georgia College & State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management. Upon graduating, Tanner then earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. Tanner was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2020.
Vesela Z. Eminovska
Vesela Eminovska was born in Provadia, Bulgaria. Vesela earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of Georgia, graduating in 2014. Vesela went on to earn her Juris Doctor from The University of Georgia School of Law in 2019. In law school, she served as a member of the Animal Legal Defense Fund, Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for the Athens Oconee CASA Program, and Student Advocate for the Family Justice Clinic. Vesela was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2019.
Allison E. Kammeraad
Allison Kammeraad grew up in Flowery Branch, Georgia. She graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2016 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. In 2019, she graduated cum laude and earned her Juris Doctor from The Charleston School of Law. In law school, she was a two-year teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing first-year courses, member of the Moot Court Board, Chairperson of the Honor Council, and Associate Editor-in-Chief for the Charleston Law Review. Additionally, she was selected as a student member for the James L. Petigru Inn of Court. She was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2019, and she is a member of the Real Property Section and the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia.
