John C. Royer
John Royer is a closing attorney in the Gainesville office of O’Kelley & Sorohan. Before joining O’Kelley & Sorohan, Mr. Royer had a solo practice that included the areas of family law, estate planning, wills and trusts, corporate law, and worker’s compensation. In addition, as a member of the Southern District of Georgia, Mr. Royer practiced as a criminal defense attorney. Mr. Royer is a native of South Georgia, and practiced in his hometown of Douglas prior to joining O’Kelley & Sorohan.
Mr. Royer is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and was sworn in to the State Bar of Georgia in 2010. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and its Real Estate Section. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of Georgia and to the Southern and Northern Federal District Courts of Georgia. He is also a registered Mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.
