Before attending law school, Mr. Goldberg worked for almost five years in various leadership roles in the bankruptcy department for a large Atlanta law firm. During law school, Mr. Goldberg clerked for the Honorable Judge James R. Sacca, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge in the Northern District of Georgia. He was also an oral argument quarter-finalist and winner of the Best Petitioner's Brief Award in The Charleston School of Law National Moot Court Competition. Before joining the firm, Mr. Goldberg worked with a mid-sized Atlanta law firm representing national banking institutions and various creditors in civil litigation matters. Mr. Goldberg's practice focuses primarily on representing banking institutions, investors, landlords, and other property owners in civil litigation as plaintiffs and defendants by managing all phases of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement and appeal. Mr. Goldberg also handles a significant amount of residential and commercial foreclosures, commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and title litigation.
